A Pakistani man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of stabbing to death a teacher outside a university in the Paris suburbs, a police source said.
The 66-year-old teacher was stabbed repeatedly in front of the private Leonard-de-Vinci university in Courbevoie, northwest of Paris.
The police source, confirming a report in the Parisien newspaper, said the suspect was a former student at the university who was born in Pakistan in 1981.
The Parisien reported that the victim was an English teacher and that he had been stabbed in the throat.
Another police source said the knife had been left at the scene.

Again we are in international news. Millions of us are working hard to make shine Pakistan and it’s reputations.
Nothing against illiterate labor force but we should check and run some sort of security checks before we let these guys have passports.

Someone born in Pakistan does not mean is a Pakistani. This is an act of an individual and needs to be taken as such

I agree that he may have an Afghani or Pakistani descent, but he was raised in France or at least not in Pakistan.
European media often paints a picture of Pakistan on the lines of war torn Syria, Afghanistan etc.
It impacts lives of normal and affluent Pakistanis who live there, having to face prejudices. The average Pakistani origin person living there often becomes uncomfortable when someone points at their nationality.
Wonder what is the solution and when will it change.
