KARACHI: Noor-e-Mustafa, Farhan Altaf and M Ali beat their respective rivals in the mens singles second round to advance in the NBP National Seniors & Juniors Tennis Championship here at the DA Creek Club on Monday.

In the under-18 event first round, Shahzad Bachani and Amin Shafi outplayed their rivals while in the under-16 quarter-finals, Samad Arejo beat Shezad Bachani to reach the semis.

Earlier, Anwar Farooqi, Event Manager Sports Department NBP, formally inaugurated the tournament as chief guest. Also present were Azmanatullah Khan Erum Bukhari, Khalild Rehmani and Sarwar Hussain.
