Three children die in accidental grenade blast in Balochistan's Washuk district

Three children were killed and another sustained injuries in an accidental blast in Killi Behram town of Balochistan's Washuk district on Friday, DawnNewsTV reported.

According to a statement issued by the Levies force, the children had found an unexploded grenade and were playing with it when it exploded accidentally.

"The blast occurred at around 12pm when two girls and two boys, aged between seven and 10, were drawn towards a hidden, unexploded grenade and started playing with it. The grenade exploded, killing two boys and a girl on the spot while seriously injuring one girl," read the Levies statement.

The injured girl was administered first aid in Washuk after which she was shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Khuzdar district for further treatment.
