SUKKUR: A man allegedly killed father of his own son-in-law and wounded his uncle in the name of honour in area within the jurisdiction of Dil Murad police station in Jacobabad on Thursday.

Rehmatullah Katohar told reporters that when he, his father Kajlo and uncle Ishaq went to the house of his father-in-law Murad Katohar to get back his wife, who had gone to visit his family house 12 days ago, Murad and his accomplices opened indiscriminate fire, killing his father Kajlo and wounding his uncle Ishaq.

He said that his father-in-law Murad had killed his father after leveling allegation upon him that he had committed incest with his daughter. Police were not arresting the killer and were only acting like onlookers, he said.

Meanwhile, relatives of the victim took the body of Kajlo to press club where they held a protest against police failure to arrest the killer.
