KOHAT: Unidentified gunmen shot dead a government official near the mills checkpost on Bannu road here on Monday. The police said Mamrazi Khan belonging to Shakardarra town was going to his office of land protection department when he was ambushed near the mills checkpost. The killers managed to escape.

The police reached the scene and shifted the body to the KDA teaching hospital for autopsy. Later, it was handed over to the family.

Malik Khan, brother of the deceased, filed FIR against unknown persons and told the police that they had no enmity with anyone.
