With chilly weather still outside, let us make some snowmen today. No, not the actual snowman made from snow, but let’s make it from thermocol/Styrofoam balls — easy, isn’t it? Let’s begin today’s craft!

  1. Glass or plastic jar (of any size)

  4. Cotton wool (I used tiny Styrofoam balls)

  1. Put some wool or Styrofoam balls in the jar and put it aside, picture 2.

  2. To give the snowfall look, I used tiny Styrofoam balls inserted in thread with needle (you can use tiny white beads). Make seven or eight such beaded strings, pictures 3 and 4.

  3. Glue the strings on the inside of the jar’s lid and put it aside, picture 5.

  4. Take both the Styrofoam balls and cut a tiny bit of layer from their top, as in picture 6.

  5. Glue one ball on to the other, pictures 7 and 8.

  6. Make a smiling face with the marker, picture 9.

  7. Cut a thin strip from red paper or felt ,to be used as the muffler. Glue it between both the balls, that is the head and the body (strip should be according to the size of your snowman), picture 10.

  8. Make a cone from the red felt and put it on the head of the snowman, picture 11.

  9. To avoid the snowman from falling, insert half a toothpick as in picture 12.

  10. Insert the tree carefully in the jar (you can also use dry twig), pictures 13 and 14.

  11. Position your snowman beside or in front of the tree in the jar, picture 15.

  12. Cover the jar very carefully, picture 16.
