West Indian cricketer Kieron Pollard said on Sunday he is "very excited" to become a part of the Peshawar Zalmi team ahead of the fourth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to begin on February 14.

The newly inducted Yellow Storm player had a special video message for fans, shared by Peshawar Zalmi on Twitter.

'"I am very excited to join [the] Peshawar Zalmi squad this season. It'll be great to share the dressing room with captain Sammy, Misbah, Wahab, Liam Dawson, Chris Jordan, just to name a few," he said.

He also appreciated the "great upcoming talent(s)" of the team, Umaid Asif and Sameen Gul.

The all-rounder, who has played for the Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans in the past, is known for his economical bowling and hard-hitting batting. He told fans that he will be seeing them very soon and asked for continued support for Zalmi.

The final is set to be held on March 17, 2019 in Karachi.
