Seniors-Juniors tennis begins today

HYDERABAD: The inaugural Boulevard Mall National Tennis Champ­ionship will commence here from Saturday, Feb 9 at the Hyderabad Gymkhana.

The tournament is being organised by Hyderabad Tennis Association. The organisers have received 125 entries for various events.

Meanwhile, the organisers finalised the seeding of various events according to which Hasheesh Kumer is the top seed in juniors under-18 singles, Mahatir Muhammad is top seed in under-14 Singles, Abub­aker Talha in under-10, Varsha Das in girls under-18 singles and Rashid Malik in 50-plus singles.
