Bo Peep revamped in Toy Story 4

Filmmakers released new images of Toy Story character Bo Peep on social media.

“When the film is done, I’m really going to miss working with Annie Potts. Her performance has brought Bo back in a commanding way that only she can do. Can’t wait to re-introduce Bo Peep to the world. #ToyStory4,” director Josh Cooley captioned a portrait of the animated character wearing pants, a corset top and a cape, with a bow in her hair and a staff in her hand.

A brief video Disney Pixar posted on Twitter shows Bo Peep crashing through background scenery, swinging around her shepherd’s crook and surprising Woody and Buzz Lightyear, played by Tom Hanks and Tim Allen respectively.

In the first two Toy Story movies, Bo Peep wore an old-fashioned gown and bonnet. She has always been voiced by Potts, who is known for her live-action work in the Ghostbusters film franchise.

Superpower Dogs documentary coming soon

Captain America and The Avengers actor Chris Evans will soon be heard narrating the IMAX documentary, Superpower Dogs.

“I am a proud dog owner and completely understand the connection that humans have with these remarkable animals,” Evans said in a statement. “I love the way this film highlights incredible working dogs who utilise their real-life superpowers to help and protect people.”

Written and directed by Daniel Ferguson, the film is set for theatrical release on March 15.

It follows canines and their human partners as they “brave earthquakes and avalanches, protect endangered species such as rhinos and elephants, and transform the lives of people with special needs,” a press release said.

Anne Hathaway on Princess Diaries 3

Anne Hathaway says work on Princess Diaries 3 is underway. The actress gave an update on the possible new sequel.

“There is a script for the third movie,” Hathaway confirmed. “There is a script. I want to do it, [my co-star] Julie [Andrews] wants to do it, Debra Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it. We all really want it to happen.”

“It’s just we don’t want to do it unless it’s perfect, because we love it just as much as you guys love it,” she explained. “It’s as important to us as it is to you and we don’t want to deliver anything until it’s ready, but we’re working on it.”

Hathaway played Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries (2001), which was based on the Meg Cabot novel of the same name, and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004).
