HYDERABAD: Victorious Hyderabad athletics team is seen with Commissioner Hyderabad Mohammad Abbas Baloch and other senior officials.

HYDERABAD: Karachi Region bagged first position while Shaheed Benazirabad clinced the runners-up spot in the Sindh College Games Inter-regional Athletics Boys and Girls Championship here at Public School Hyderabad on Monday.

In the boys category and Hyderabad Region finished at third position. In the girls events, Hyderabad bagged top spot while Karachi teams clinched second and third position and fourt position went to Sukkur Region.

Moeed Bloch was declared the best athlete in boys category while Sonia Din was the best athlete in girls event.

Chief guest at the opening ceremony was Secretary College Education Parvez Ahmed Seehar while Commissioner Hyderabad Mohammad Abbas Baloch was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.

Also present were Regional Director Colleges Dr Abdul Handed Channar, Prof Shahida Abro and manager Karachi team Syed Gohar Raza. The event was organised under the umbrella of Directorate of Colleges, Hyderabad Region.
