Like the national leadership, Pakistani citizens seem more inclined to taking a measured and mature position on belligerence from the easterly neighbour.

Soon after the state announced successful airstrikes across the Line of Control and subsequent capture of two Indian pilots, prominent Pakistanis took to Twitter to call for the captured pilots to be treated with dignity and respect.

Prominent voices also acknowledged and lauded the Pakistani military for safeguarding the pilot from citizens angered by continuing Indian repression in occupied Kashmir.
