The government has put three government hospitals in the garrison city on red alert and directed the administrations to make arrangement to deal with any emergency.
After tension on the borders between Pakistan and India, the Punjab government asked all the hospitals across the province to cancel leaves of doctors, nurses and the paramedical staff in the government run hospitals.
