KASUR: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan) leader Farooq Sattar has said both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari were making a joint effort to protect the “plundered wealth”.

Addressing party workers at a local wedding hall on Saturday in Kot Radha Kishan he said accountability should be for everyone irrespective of his or her party affiliation.

He said that bureaucrats were the greatest hurdle in the way of accountability. Mr Sattar said some feudal lords and capitalists had entered the folds of the MQM and the workers would soon get rid of them as Muttahida was the party of common man.

He said the government had failed to bring a single penny from abroad during it six months tenure.
