Balochistan Cup enters Super Eight stage

QUETTA: The Ufone Balochistan Footnall Cup, being played across eight cities of the province, has reached the Super Eight stages with Panjgur FC from Panjgur and Jhalawan FC of Khuzdar booking their berths by winning the city-level eliminators.

The duo will join Bacha Khan FC Loralai and Shaheed Balach FC Nushki who have already qualified for the quarter-finals.

Panjgur FC overcame Baloch Musa Jan FC 2-1 while Mohammad Ibrahim’s 50th-minute strike saw Jhalawan FC edge Bab-e-Balochistan FC 1-0.

The tournament ends with the final on March 28.
