KOHAT: Shortage of funds and non-cooperation of sister agencies have been hampering plans of the Water Supply and Sanitation Company (WSSC), Kohat, to initiate necessary projects.

However, she regretted that the tehsil municipal administration from which the water supply and sanitation work was transferred to WSSC was not accepting it as a separate entity besides KDA which was hampering the progress.

She claimed that WSSC lifted 54,000 tons of garbage since its inception in 2017 and had been disposing of 100 to 120 tons daily.
