HARIPUR/SWABI: An Afghan refugee allegedly killed his brother at a refugee camp in Haripur, while a man shot dead his maternal uncle in Swabi on Wednesday.

In Haripur, the Kotnajibullah police said there was a dispute between Mohammad Nawaz of Afghan camp No 15 with his younger brother Mohammad Riaz. On Wednesday morning, both had come across and entered into arguments when the former asked the latter to pay the money that he borrowed from him a few years ago.

It was stated that both scuffled and Riaz opened fire on his elder brother killing him on the spot.

In Swabi, a man allegedly killed his maternal uncle and injured father on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in Managi village of Razaar tehsil. Registering an FIR in Kalu Khan police station, wife of deceased Sabir Khan said that Shahid Khan opened fire on her husband and his own father.

As a result, Sabir Khan, who belonged to Peshawar, was killed on the spot while father of the alleged assailant was seriously injured.

The injured was taken to the tehsil headquarters hospital from where he was referred to Peshawar. Police have registered an FIR.

Meanwhile, two girls were killed in a roof collapse incident late on Tuesday night. The roof of house of one Iftikhar Khan in Yar Hussain area caved in, which left two girls dead and three other people injured.
