KARACHI: Usman Club players are seen with SOA vice-president Mahfoozul Haq, Khalid Shamsi and KBBA officials on Friday.

KARACHI: Usman Basketball Club beat Arambagh Basketball Club 67-49 in the opening match of All Karachi Bahadur Ali Shaheed Basketball Tournament being organized by Karachi Basketball Associatioon in collaboration with PSWA at the Arambagh courts on Thursday.

Scorers for the winning side in this high-scoring contest were Muhammad Ahsan Iqbal (15 points), Hamza Parwani (14 points) and M Daniyal Khan (6 points). Leading scorers for losers were Ashraf Yahya (25 points), Abdul Rehman (10 points) and Anas (8 points).

Earlier, SOA Vice President Engineer Mehfoozul Haq along with Khalid Jameel Shamsi performed the opening ceremony of the tournament. KBBA president Ghulam Muhammad Khan and Abdul Nasir were also present on the occasion.
