KARACHI: Bahria Basketball Club beat St Patrick’s Basketball Club 39--36 during the match of All Karachi Bahadur Ali Shaheed Basketball Tournament being organized by Karachi Basketball Club in collaboration with PSWA at the Arambagh courts on Friday.

Main scorers for the winning side in this closely-fought contest were Mohsin Mehmood (13 points), Umair Khan (14 points) and Monib Ahmed (12 points).

Leading scorers for the losers were Jibran Ali (10 points), Darren (9 points) and Nosha (8 points).

Earlier, players of both teams were introduced to chief guest SP Azam Hayat, who lauded the organizers for holding an event to pay homage to Shaheed police officer Bahadur Ali who laid his life while fighting terrorism. SSP Irfan Bahadur Ali, KBBA president Ghulam Muhammad and Abdul Nasir were also present on the occasion.
