SWABI: Three people were killed and one injured in different incidents here on Monday, said police.

In Yaqoobi village of Razaar tehsil, a Pesco lineman identified as Sher Afzal was electrocuted while working on a live wire in a house. He was taken to a local hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The deceased belonged to Yar Hussain village.

In Zaida village, one person was killed and another injured over an old enmity.

Registering an FIR in Zaida police station, Abdul Hamim, father of the deceased Mohammad Abbas, alleged that Sartaj Khan and Faiz Ali Shah opened fire on his son and his colleague, Hammad Khan. As a result, his son died on the spot while Hammad was seriously injured who was rushed to Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor.

The accused escaped after the incident. The police registered FIR and started investigations.

Similarly, a young boy was also killed in Tordher village.
