Bilquis postgraduate college students awarded degrees

ISLAMABAD: The 29th Convocation of Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women, PAF Base Nur Khan was held on Friday.

According to PAF, successful students, who completed MA English, M.A Education, MEd, BS (Hons) English, BS (Hons) Computer Sciences, BS (Hons) Mathematics, BS (Hons) Psychology and BBA Hons courses were given certificates/degrees.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood was the chief guest on the occasion.

Vice Chancellor Air University retired Air Vice Marshal Faaiz Amir presided over the convocation.

President Pakistan Air Force Women Association Begum Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan was also present on the occasion.

Retired Air Vice Marshal Faaiz Amir conferred degrees to 217 students of various courses.

The chief guest awarded the trophy, medals and certificates to position holders in various disciplines.

Iqra Shaukat was awarded the ‘Quaid-i-Azam Trophy’ for being the best student of the year.

Earlier, Principal Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women Ayesha Khurram presented the annual report of the college.

Established in 1984, the college is not only one of the prestigious educational institutions of Pakistan Air Force but also a top ranking college in the country.

The college is offering various courses to young women for empowering them to play an important role in the progress of the country.
