THIS refers to the cumbersome process for applying for jobs through the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) in general and the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) in particular.

The process has become extremely painful for candidates not only psychologically but also financially. One has to go through the process of paying the bank draft for any job. At times, applicants find it problematic to pay the draft and send the documents, especially when it comes to applying for several positions simultaneously, for that application submission needs thousands of rupees.

Candidates facing financial problems pay the required draft and fulfill the requirement of documents only to know they have not been selected.

The authorities concerned should devise a reasonable and easy process for the job application submission.
