MIRPURKHAS: A landlord threw acid on a labourer for arriving late at his workplace in Deh 153 near here on Saturday, inflicting serious injuries to his leg, hands and sensitive parts.

The acid victim, who was brought to Digri taluka hospital by his mother after the landlord stopped him from seeking medical help, told journalists that he had failed to reach the farmland of Abdul Khalique Jatt on time a few days ago.

He alleged that the landlord threw acid on him in punishment.
