ABBOTTABAD: Commissioner Hazara Division Zaheerul Islam has directed the SNGPL, Pesco and other departments to ensure removal of their installations along the Havelian-Dhamthore bypass road by the December deadline for making the artery operational. He also asked the revenue officials to clear the outstanding dues of the affected people.

He issued the directives while presiding over a meeting at commissioner’s office here on Wednesday. Officials of FWO, Nespak, revenue and line departments and the deputy commissioner Abbottabad were in attendance.

Mr Islam also directed the officials of SNGPL, public healthengineering and other departments to cover the manholes on the roadsides and also remove all the marked installations as slackness in that regard won’t be tolerated. He said the provincial government wanted early completion of the project, which would help boost tourism in Galiyat and reduce the traffic pressure on the main Abbottabad road.
