The final King of the Monsters trailer

Godzilla is the only force capable of stopping a group of towering threats in the final trailer for the upcoming action-thriller, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

The clip features monsters such as the three-headed dragon Ghidorah, the butterfly-like Mothra and Rodan, who possesses giant wings, laying waste to a number of cities across the globe.

Crypto-zoological agency Monarch and other world leaders then decide to use Godzilla in order to combat the deadly creatures and save the world.

An epic battle takes place featuring Godzilla using his signature fire breath to prove that he is the true alpha monster.

“One king to rule them all,” the trailer says. Godzilla: King of the Monsters, from director Michael Dougherty, is set to arrive in theatres on May 31.

Ryan Reynolds gets sentimental in Detective Pikachu

Ryan Reynolds released a new trailer for Detective Pikachu that showcases the emotional side of the upcoming live-action Pokemon film.

“A little shot of wonderful for a weary world,” Reynolds said on Twitter alongside the clip. Reynolds voices the title character in Detective Pikachu who is helping Tim Goodman, portrayed by Justice Smith, find his missing father.

The trailer, which features the song “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, brings the world of Pokemon to life as Tim is featured walking through a forested area that is filled with Pokemon such as Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle.

Tim also goes through a crowded city where Pokemon and humans are living together side by side. Reynolds’ Pikachu, meanwhile, is featured giving a Psyduck and hug and comforting Tim about his father.

The film is based on the Pokemon brand, which has spawned multiple anime series and video games.
