QUETTA: The prison authorities of Balochistan on Thursday suspended the assistant superintendent of Central Jail Khuzdar and three other officials after a video clip showing ‘open use of drugs by prisoners in the jail” went viral on social media. Home Minister Mir Zia Langove took notice of the video clip and suspended Assistant Jail Superintendent Tariq Baloch and three wardens and ordered a departmental inquiry against Jail Superintendent. He ordered an investigation into the consumption of narcotics on the jail premises and said that those found involved in supplying drugs to the prison would be punished.
