HANGU, Jan 13: Mohammad Akhtar Sherazi, director of education of the Overseas Pakistani Foundation, Islamabad has urged both the teachers and parents to concentrate on imparting  computer training to children as without getting know-how in computer science heights of progress and prosperity cannot be achieved.

This he said during an inspection of OPF Public School Hangu on Sunday.

He called upon the parents and teachers to concentrate on inculcating moral education to the students.

Mr Sherazi said a close coordination among parents, teachers and students could ensure better education.

He assured  the teachers that  with the cooperation of government the OPF was also committed to enhance education standard. He said the OPF was also focussing on raising the standard of female education. He added that presently 24 schools were functioning under the institution.

He said the OPF had been extending education facilities to the remote and backward areas so that the people of these areas could also get benefited from the OPF education scheme.
