ATTOCK, July 19: A leading non-governmental organization for women has finalized its programme to help women participants in the upcoming local body elections. The Aurat Foundation is planning to establish special camps in all tehsils to educate female candidates. This was stated by the president of the district coordination committee of Aurat Foundation, Haji Sher Ahmed, during a briefing for journalists.

Mr Ahmed said that the Aurat Foundation would facilitate all women candidates irrespective of their political leanings so that more and more women could be encouraged to participate in the elections. —APP
