KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary party leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Shaikh has invited PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to launch a drive against AIDS in Sindh along with him.
Talking to reporters outside the Sindh Assembly, he said that instead of saving the people affected by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Bilawal should work for saving AIDS victims in the province. He said the medicines supplied for Thar were not being given to patients and innocent children were dying for want of treatment in Thar, but the government of Sindh had no plan in this regard.
The PTI leader also said that after Eidul Fitr, the PTI, along with the people of Sindh, would launch a drive for their rights. In reply to a question, Mr Shaikh said that now it was necessary to save Sindh from one family. Terming today’s meeting on Police Act relatively positive, he said the Sindh government instead of delivering to the people was only interested in funds. It only wanted corruption, but its time was about to end, he added.
