Cold weather persists

GILGIT, Jan 13: Northern Areas are still experiencing exteremly cold weather, however, some change in the minimum temperature was recorded on Sunday.

Ligtht rain reported from Gilgit and other parts of NAs and snowfall over the hilltops is continuing for the last two days. The cloudy weather has given some relief to the inhabitants from harsh cold.

The minimum temperature in Gilgit was recorded plus 3 degrees C on Sunday which was minus .5 on Saturday. Gilgit metrecorded air humidity 76 and 61 per cent in the morning and noon respectively.—APP
