ISLAMABAD: The federal government has allocated Rs4.797 billion for ongoing and new development schemes of Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.

The ministry of federal education will utilise the amount on 11 ongoing and 21 new development schemes for fiscal year 2019-20.

Amongst the new schemes, seven schools will also be constructed in various areas of the capital.

According to budgetary documents, Rs100 million has been earmarked for modernisation of examination system and Rs100 million for provision of quality of education to the students of Balochistan and merged areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw.

The budgetary documents stated that Rs130 million has been earmarked for a project for blended E-Learning in 500 school of federal capital and KPK while Rs205 million has been earmarked for STEM Teaching project and Rs1,000 million for TVET sector development projects.
