In pictures: How the highly anticipated Pakistan vs India match went down
What began with high hopes and a lot of drama ended on a quiet, predictable note.

June 16, 2019
The atmosphere at Old Trafford on Sunday was electric as Pakistan and India went head to head in what began as a dramatic showdown in a key World Cup fixture.
Rain stopped play thrice, and eventually the D/L method was used to reduce play in the Pakistan innings to 40 overs.
The men in blue concluded the match with a decisive victory over Pakistan ─ their 7th consecutive win ─ against the side.

Great game and sportsmanship from the players. Virhat a true sportsman left the field that he was caught though the replay showed it was not so for he mistook the loose handle of his bat noise for the flick. Better team won the match.

It was a darn good opportunity for the hitman to make a double-ton against the weak Pakistani bowling today. Poor thing just missed out. Anyway, it's proven beyond doubt today that Form is temporary, class is permanent. And that India is in a different class altogether.
Pity the people who keep harping about the CT17 final. They need to be more realistic and less optimistic.

Continued...
Inzamam and selection team has to go too. As they are incapable of selecting the right team. If Australia can select Steve Smith and David Warner then why can’t Pak select Mohammed Asif. Asif has served his punishment and should have been selected as he is the best swing bowler in the world and a match winner. Similarly, Anwar Ali is a match winning batsmen and fielder who bowls excellent. Saad Nasim scored a century against Australia in UAE and then he was dropped. Inzamam and selection committee needs to understand that it is about Pakistan and not their personal opinion and grudges.

Pakistan team lacks consistency which Indian batsmen have.
They were nowhere near Indian team in any department. Indian team was much better in batting, bowling & fielding.
Even Sarfaraz lacks planning when it comes to bowling attack.
The better team won.

Most Pakistani players generally are good for PSL level Cricket which is way below international class.
One can see the huge difference in batting techniques b/w Pakistani players and other international players.
Problem is every now and then our boys somehow manage to impress and then we start putting too much
Fith in them, without remembering the fundamental fault due to fitness and technique

@Shampee,
Not true people do have hatred but that is sowed by BIG forces that play mind games with all countries when any religion is mixed up.
These people and dark forces know about human psychology and use them more than people use it for themselves!
Result is no wonder, we end up forgetting the history with every freaking generation!
Human flaws and its abilities are known to all but individual if he the individual finds it out first he wins. Dark forces lose.
Till that happens history will repeat we like it or not.
Today it is these 'set' of religions after few centuries it may be something totally not religious but people will find a reason to do so, so long they succumb to human flaws and not human abilities, SAD but true !

@Dr. Salaria, Aamir Ahmad, Why sudden change of heart- from being the 'most media hyped' team to 'True Champion'? India has always been a True Champion for it wants to play by the true spirit of the game-win or lose. We are not gloating over our rival's loss. What India is going thru is a socio-economic transformation and sports is a tool in that. When that change reaches its peak in another decade or two, India will not be an economic super power alone but will see huge success in other spheres too. We wish our neighbours, including Pakistan, to join that journey. But, unfortunately , Pakistan seems to have chosen a different course.

I am happy, because I dint waste time watching this match. We friends had a good outing, and had Biryani at night. Feel sorry for all Cricket fanatics who watched the entire match, some fools even broke their expensive LED TVs.
