Pakistan vs India matches are hotly anticipated by cricket fans on both sides of the border as well as around the world. Given the two countries' frosty relations, the two teams have only been playing each other in major world tournaments, making this World Cup clash a rarity.
The World Cup 2019 group stage match between the two teams was sold out just hours after the tickets went on sale for the 26,000-capacity Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester. Millions more were tuned in to catch the action broadcast on TV sets and cellphones.

@RationalBabu ,
If you really must compare, then despite our problems, its still better than the mess of open defecation and unsafe for women.

Indian cricketers could have played better. But pressure on teams actually deviate players of both the teams from their real rhythm.

We now need to reverse the enmity of 70 years in politics and bring about lasting peace .This is possible by bringing fresh thinking on old entrenched positions.

I watched the match live yesterday in old Trafford.
I struck perfect rapport with Pakistani fans in the stands.
On the night prior to the match day, I had dinner in a Pakistani restaurant at Manchester. Though a vegetarian,I had no difficulties in choosing delicious vegetarian dishes from an impressive,elaborate spread. I simply fell in love with the delicious desert, Firni.
I had a couple of pictures taken with fans from across the border. Elsewhere in the stadium, it was nice to see youngsters from India and Pakistan vigorously engaged in 'Bangra' ,dancing together to the tune of Punjabi pop.
Altogether pleasant memories which i will cherish for ever.
