ISLAMABAD: Sarah Mehboob Khan and Abid Ali Akbar won the men and women singles title of third SNGPL All Pakistan Tennis Championships here at the Pakistan Tennis Complex on Friday night.

Second seed Sarah Mehboob won the title defeating top seed Sara Mansoor 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 in the decider while Davis Cupper Abid outclassed Ahmed Chaudhry 6-4, 6-3 to clinch the men’s final.

Earlier on Thursday night, third seeded pair of Abid Ali Akbar and Ahmed Chaudhry annexed the men’s doubles title beating top seeded duo of Mohammad Abid and Shahzad Khan in a thrilling three-set final.

Hamza Roman won the boys and girls 10-and-under title beating Hania Minhas. Hamza also qualified for the boys and girls 12-and-under final where he faces Asad.

Hamid Israr claimed the boys 14-and-under singles title by overcoming Kashan Omer in straight sets.

Ahmed Kamil won the 18-and-under singles final by beating Sami Zaib in the final.
