LAHORE: The Punjab government on Tuesday sent some officials to the federal government and changed five others, including Lahore Commissioner Dr Mujtaba Piracha.

Mr Piracha was posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Services Economy. He was replaced by Muhammad Asif Bilal Lodhi.

Secretary MPDD Dr Ismat Tahira was sent to the federal government. Asim Iqbal and Wasim Ajmal Chaudhry, both BS-20 officers, were also sent to the federal government.

Information Department Deputy Secretary Abdul Qadir Shami was posted as Director Finance, Bab-i-Pakistan Project. Muhammad Salim was posted as Deputy Secretary Information.

The services of Muhammad Ali Bukhari were placed at the disposal of finance department for further posting.

Muhammad Hamza Salik was posted as Multan ADC General.

Brig (retd) Aslam Ghuman was posted as Punjab Anti-Corruption Committee Vice-chairman.

Deputy Secretary, Governor’s Secretariat Maria Tariq was transferred and posted as Director Local Government, Commissioner Office, Multan. She was replaced by Nadia Farooqui who was awaiting posting.
