SANGHAR: Two young brothers and one of their friends drowned while bathing in Khipro Canal about 10 kilometres from here on Friday.
According to onlookers and police, the young boys along with other people were enjoying a cool bath to beat the heat when one of them, Shahzeb Yousufzai, lost his balance and started raising a hue and cry. His brother, Aamir Yousufzai and friend Shahzeb Arain, tried to rescue him but all of them drowned.
Local divers retrieved the bodies and took them to the Sanghar Civil Hospital for legal formalities.
The deceased were residents of Shahmeer Panhwar Colony of Sanghar.
