The demonstration was held under the aegis of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz to express solidarity with the JSMM.

Speaking on the occasion, Fouzia Saharan, wife of the jailed nationalist leader Ghulam Nabi Saharan, said the state oppression could not break the spirit of the activists who were fighting for the emancipation of Sindh.

Shama Gul, Sagar Hanif Burdi, Ghulam Rasool Channar, Dr Zulfiqar and Qasim Soomro also spoke on the occasion.

They said the operation launched by the government against the JSMM was aimed at crushing the nationalist movement in Sindh.

They said whatever the consequences, the people of Sindh would follow the philosophy of Saeen G.M. Syed.
