FAISALABAD: An associate of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah was recently kidnapped and thrashed by masked men.
Mirza Abdul Malik, who remained chairman of union council 106, claims in a video that has gone viral on social media that masked men had kidnapped and severely tortured him a few days ago and left him on the expressway. He also shows the marks of torture.
The family of the former law minister said the matter of Malik’s torture would be brought into the notice of the Amnesty International.
Rana Sanaullah’s wife told reporters that their supporters were being harassed and tortured. She said the issue of torture must be probed so that justice could be ensured.

You demand justice when any body touches you not for the people who want it for serious crimes against them. Was the justice system reformed to provide justice to the people? Do only rich people deserve justice?

Instead of using the national legal channels, Noon League and PPP both are trying to malign Pakistan in front of the world through international organizations like Amnesty. This is a sad thing for Pakistanis and shameful on the part of these two parties. First they deliberately ruined local institutions and now they are maligning the nation internationally.

Might is right policy would no longer remain in the country as in the case of Rana Sanaullah used to think himself unreachable to the hands of law.

This is no politics. The New Pakistan should have different and humane legal procedures than the tactics employed by the previous governments.

He was the law minister during Sharif's rule. It was his job to reform the judicial system such that today if he were to be put behind the bar he would have been satisfied.. seems not the case so he is being duly punished.
