KARACHI: Two more matches were decided in the ongoing SSB Shohada-e-Pakistan basketball tournament being organized by Pakistan Sports Welfare Association in collaboration with Karachi Basketball Association at the International Abdul Nasir Arambagh court on Thursday night.

In the first match of the day, Baria Club beat their strong opponents Lecole Ballers 39-36

Scorers for the winners in this closely fought encounter were Aun Muhammad 19 points, Bilal and Mohsin Gujar 8 points each. For the losers, Shahzain and Hasan Motiwala scored 9 points each while Umair Pasha scored 8 points.

In the second match, Falcon Club 48-44.

Leading scorers for the winners were Umar Shabbir 16 point and Umar Farooq 12 points and Awais Ahmed 11 points. For the losers, Sandi scored 11 points and Jamshed scored 10 and Jaffer Hasan 9 points.

Earlier, players of both teams were introduced to basketball selector Muhammad Yaqoob, who was the chief guest on the occasion. Tournament Organizer Ghulam Muhammad Khan, International Abdul Nasir and Fawad Ali Khan were also present on the occasion.
