SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari inaugurated academic block-III of the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration University on Saturday.

He said at the inauguration ceremony and at a gathering of his supporters who had assembled there to welcome him that he felt pride seeing the infrastructure of the university.

It was so fulfilling to see the institute that his mother Benazir Bhutto had laid the foundation of had grown into this great university which was competing with not only the best universities in Pakistan but also with world institutions, he said.

He said that it was always refreshing to meet energetic youth of Sindh and see all the amazing things they were doing and expressed his joy at the things happening within Sukkur IBA University and in Sukkur.

After visiting various facilities of the university, he talked about the progress made by the institute and the city within a short span of time. He remembered Sukkur when he saw it 10 years ago and he would remember the Sukkur that he had seen that day, he said.

He said that it was heartening to see institutions like Sukkur IBA University, providing quality education to people of humble background; NICVD and SIUT providing free-of-charge medical assistance working in Sindh.

He said that the country needed many more institutions like Sukkur IBA University and urged youth to fulfil the vision held by Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

After the inauguration ceremony, the guests visited the block and the various laboratories, including FAB Lab which was established in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.

The event was also attended by Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, MNA Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, MPA Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sukkur Commissioner Rafiq Ahmed Buriro and others.
