ABBOTTABAD: Aneesur Rehman of Tameer-i-Watan Public School and College topped the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Abbotabad in Higher Secondary School Certificate examination by securing 1,026 marks out of 1,100.

He was followed by Kashaf Riaz of Peace Group of College Mansehra with 1,021 marks and Rizwa Rehman of Postgraduate College Abbottabad, who got 1,015 marks.

The girl students clinched first three positions in pre-medical group. Kashaf Riaz got first position and Rizwa Rehman secured second position while Fajar Ahmed of PGSC Abbottabad grabbed third position.

In pre-engineering group, the top three positions were secured by students of Tamir-i-Watan Public School and College Abbottabad. Aneesur Rehman with 1,026 marks got first position, Amina Khan with 1,015 marks stood second and third position was shared by Aashan Khalid and Mohammad Arbaz, who got 1,014 marks each.

In humanities group, the top three positions were lifted by girl students. Sitara Matlub of Government Girls Degree College Mansehra with 913 marks got first position, Aleena Ishaque of GGDC Abbottabad with 908 marks was declared second while Khudija Khan of GGDC Sarae Saleh Haripur with 898 marks secured third position.

In computer and general science group, Mohammad Haseeb of TWPSC Abbottabad with 967 marks got first position, Khajasta Zainab of PGSC Haripur with 957 marks won second position and Nida Rafique of TWPSC Abbottabad with 950 marks got third position.
