TAXILA: A man was killed and another was injured when a group attacked them in Attock police station area on Wednesday.

Police and Rescue 1122 sources said that Mohammad Asim, 60, was going in his car along with his brother Mohammad Arif, 55.

When they reached Mohammadnagar area, they found a group of young people standing in the middle of a street.

They exchanged heated arguments over some issue with the group who attacked both the elderly persons with daggers, injuring them critically.

Rescue 1122 shifted them to District Headquarters Hospital where Asim succumbed to his injuries while the condition of the other was stated to be critical.

Attock police have registered a case and started further investigation.
