SKARDU: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has donated two buses as a gift from the government and the people of Sindh province to the University of Baltistan Skardu.

He announced the decision during a meeting with Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohammad Naeem Khan, who paid a courtesy call on the PPP chairman to welcome him to Baltistan, according to a press release.

The vice chancellor apprised Bilawal about the university’s educational achievements in the region in a short period since its inception and also briefed him about the future academic programmes of the varsity.

Prof Naeem had made a request to Bilawal to ask Sindh government to donate two buses for the students of the varsity.

The vice-chancellor, faculty and students thanked Bilawal for the goodwill gesture for the deprived area of Baltistan.
