KARACHI: Two more matches were played in the ongoing Inverex Trophy Invitational Basketball Tournament being organised by Nasir Academy in collaboration with PSWA at Abdul Nasir Basketball courts at Arambagh on Saturday.
In the first match of the day, Nishter Basketball Club beat Arambagh Basketball Club 43-39 in a closely-fought contest. Scorers for the winners were Furqan (20 points), Waqar Zulfiqar (16 points) and Mohammad Shabbar (9 points).
In the second match, Usman Basketball Club easily overcame Youth Basketball Club 46- 34. Main scorers for the winners were Shariq Suleman (12 points), M Hassan Iqbal (11 points) and Nofil (10 points).
