Wonder Craft: Arrow bookmarks

Hey kids! Want to show your creativity to your classmates in the new academic year without wasting a single penny?

If yes, then here is an easy bookmark which you can make in just a few minutes. Once made, you will be amazed to see how wonderful these bookmarks look; surely they will make your friends envy your creative skills. Let’s start with one.

Things you need:

  1. Felt or foam sheet pieces two-inch long and at least one-inch wide, (choose the colours of your choice).

  2. String (you will need a six-inch long string for one bookmark).

  3. White glue

  4. Scissors

  5. Sticks, six- or seven-inch long (you can reuse barbecue skewers).

Directions:

  1. Cut leafs of two sizes, one large and another a bit small, picture 2.

  2. You will need two leaves and a small triangle piece of one centimetre, see picture 3.

  3. Give small cuts around the edges of both the leaves, pictures 4 and 5.

  4. Hold the smaller leaf on top of the bigger while both leaves on top of the stick, tie them tightly, pictures 6 and 7.

  5. Paste glue on the triangle piece and glue it on the other end of the stick, picture 8.

  6. You can mix and match colours of your choice, picture 9.
