Bus service

Published September 15, 2019

THE Sindh government launched the People’s Bus Service in 2018 to facilitate the people of Karachi. Initially 10 buses were put into service with the number to be increased later.

I went to the Saddar office of Daewoo bus service recently to purchase a ticket for an upcountry journey. I was amazed to see the company was using many People’s Bus Service buses as a shuttle service from their Saddar office to the main inter-city bus terminus on M-9 motorway.

The Sindh government must inform citizens what happened to People’s Bus Service.
