QUETTA: A farewell dinner was hosted in honour of outgoing Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court, Justice Syeda Tahira Safdar, here on Sunday.
Judges of the Balochistan High Court and subordinate courts, senior lawyers and other people attended the dinner.
Justice Syeda Tahira Safdar will retire on Oct 4.
Speaking on the occasion, the outgoing chief justice said her journey comprising years was now near to end, adding that she had a lot of pleasant memories.
The chief justice-designate of the Balochistan High Court, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, will take oath of his office on Oct 5.
