PESHAWAR: A Peshawar High Court bench in Bannu, which had on Wednesday conditionally allowed bail to MNAs Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar, has directed them not to leave the country and also to appear at the office of the district police officer concerned once a week.

In its detailed orders, the bench states that the conditional bail was granted only for a period of one month which will be subject to condition of “good behaviour” by the MNAs and before expiry of that period they will have to file fresh bail applications in the high court.

A single-member bench of Justice Mohammad Nasir Mahfooz, which had conditionally allowed bail petitions of the two MNAs in the Kharqamar incident case, has mentioned that conditional bail for a period of one month only is granted subject to furnishing bail bonds amounting to Rs1 million each with two sureties to the satisfaction of the additional registrar of the court.
