SAHIWAL: Rescue work under way after roof collapse at Chak 86/6-R. — Dawn

SAHIWAL: Eight people were critically injured on Saturday when the roof of a residence caved in at village 86/6-R. Rescue 1122 said injured were shifted to the Sahiwal District Headquarters Hospital.

The injured belong to one family. Villagers rescued them from the debris and those shifted to hospital are Nadeem (35), Asif (25), Muhammad Ashraf (24), Mushtaq (26), Muhammad Shafiq (40), Nasir (62), Mumtaz Riaz (50) and Ali Hyder (9). Muhammad Asif (59) was provided first aid.
