TAXILA: Three people were killed while two others injured in separate incidents in Attock on Monday, police sources said.

In the first incident, a man was killed and his son was critically injured when their rival group attacked them in a trauma centre of District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.

In the second incident a man shot dead his neighbour over trivial issue in Sakhinagar area of Hassanabdal.

Police sources said 17-year-old Ehtisham Jadoon exchanged hot words with the neighbour, who took out his pistol and shot him dead and managed to escape.

Separately, an eight-year-old boy electrocuted in Saleem Khan village in limits of Hazro police station.

Police and hospital sources said Bilal Khan went to play outside when he accidentally touched an live electricity wire lying on the roads and received electric shock and died on way to hospital.

Respective police have registered separate cases and started further investigations.
