MIANWALI: Deputy Commissioner Dr Nasir Mahmood Bashir was injured in a road accident near Lahore on Wednesday.

Mr Bashir was going to Lahore by his official car when a truck hit it in the rear at Babu Sabu interchange on the motorway. He was injured and taken to the Jinnah Hospital where he was administered treatment for hand fracture and other minor injuries. His driver also suffered minor injuries.

The DC office sources said he would be discharged from hospital soon and would reach Mianwali on Thursday.
